New Fabric.... YIPEEEE!

I got some new fabric yesterday... I have been having so much fun making blog graphics and templates that I haven't crafted much lately at all. Between work and family and just life in general... there never seems to be enough time to actually complete something! (Although I do stitch a little everyday... no matter what!) I think I would actually have WITHDRAWALS if I didn't! LOL

Well, here is a pic of my fabric. It is Americana themed. I love the navy one with the stars.... it is perfect for a project I have in mind.

I am off to the flea market now... hopefully I'll find something good and can share a 'BEFORE & AFTER' pic. Here is a pic of an embossed star tin planter that I found last year for 50 cents! I stuffed it with some gingers and hearts that I bought off Ebay awhile back.

Primitive Colors.....

Some of you might remember an earlier post I made about my son Patrick being accepted to Whittier Regional Technical Vocational High School... well, today was orientation and what do I see when I walk in? Whittiers Colors..... CRANBERRY & MUSTARD!!!!!

Now what prim lover DOESN'T love cranberry and mustard??!?!

It was great!

Finally! Some 3 Column Templates!

Hi Guys! I finally made some 3 column templates!

These templates are also designed to be used with a 'MINIMA' template.

If you are using a 3 column, I assume you know how to change your margins. So, after you choose a 'Minima' template, simply change your margins and these templates will look great!

'Copy' the code beneath your chosen template and 'Paste' in the 'HTML' section under 'Add A Gadget'.

If you need further help, you can refer to an earlier post called 'DIRECTIONS FOR TEMPLATES' or you can email me at twincreekprimitives@comcast.net.

Good News & Bad News...

Well, I have good news and bad news. The good news is, I purchased a Web Designer's License from Cheryl Seslar which will allow me to use her AWESOME graphics to make blog templates, banners, etc. (I am SO excited and can't wait to start!)

The bad news is, I have the CHICKEN POX and have been sick as a dog for 5 days. (Can you believe it?!)

I am finally starting to feel better and am headed back to work tomorrow but my Doctor said it's going to take about 2 weeks for them to go away! UGH!

Directions For Templates...

Hi everyone! Since I am having so much fun making these templates AND since I plan on making lots more to share.... I thought I would share how to apply them to your blog. There are many templates out there that want you to go into the layout and actually change the HTML--my templates are MUCH easier to use!

First, copy the code beneath the template you want by right-clicking in the box and choosing 'SELECT ALL'.
Now right click and choose 'COPY'
Now just follow the steps below.

1. Sign into your 'BLOGGER' account (You are now in your 'DASHBOARD')

2. Click 'DESIGN' and then click the 'EDIT HTML' tab. At the bottom, click 'SELECT LAYOUT TEMPLATE'
Choose a 'MINIMA' template, then click 'SAVE'

3.Now click 'ADD A GADGET'
Choose HTML/JAVA SCRIPT

4. Now just right click in the content box and choose 'PASTE'

Then click 'SAVE' and you're done!

*Please remember that the 'MINIMA' template is a 2 column template, so if you currently have a 3 column template, your blog content might look different.

YAY! Spring Foward this weekend! I am (finally) finishing up some Easter stuff this weekend. I am a little late with it but... better late than never, right?
